At 10am local time on the last Saturday in April, thousands of people in over 80 nations will gather to practice Tai Chi and Qigong together.
For over two decades World Tai Chi & Qigong Day events have united people around the world in a day of peace and mindful movement, with the motto "One World...One Breath”.
Liz Kendall, a registered teacher with the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain, will guide participants through a gentle warm-up before teaching Iron Shirt Qigong, a series of standing postures.
Liz will demonstrate a Tai Chi form before everyone flows through the opening movements together. No experience or equipment is necessary and the class is open to adults and teenagers of all abilities.
