The Challenge: Driving from London to Tanzania, an incredible 8077 miles, raising £100,000 for Macmillan!
The brain child of Team Captain Karim Virji- Croydon based mechanic, businessman and owner of K&S Motors, Merton. Karim’s strong ties with Macmillan stems from the help that his uncle and wife received from Macmillan during their cancer experiences.
The invaluable help that Macmillan extended towards Karim and his family, lead him to want to give something back, to the charity, that was there through the tough times.
On April 20th 2010 Karim and his invaluable team along with their 2 land rovers, built from scratch, will embark on the epic journey from London to Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania, East Africa.
