A message from Portia- "There is currently no cure for Cystic Fibrosis. I am on oxygen 24 hours a day, immobile and need 24 hour care, lots of medicine and daily physio..
I am on the transplant list for a lung transplant which will give me a better quality of life and would enable me to do the everyday things so many people take for granted.
My husband Dale has pledged to run the London Marathon this year for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the special CF ward at The Royal Brompton Hospital"
