The charity aim to provide support for people affected by stillbirth and neonatal death and also promote research..
17 babies are stillborn everyday. This is a shocking figure and the yearly total of stillborns outnumbers cot death by 10 times! SANDS aims to raise awareness about this tragic figure and ultimately hopes that this number can be reduced.
There's approx 8 people in training for the event, all amateurs, taking part for the good of the charity. We're trying to recruit a larger team to make the ride as successful as possible.
