The KCO Spring concert will feature the talents of two young musicians, soprano - Jane Wilkinson & Rory Smith.
The Orchestra will be performing a new work by Kingston University composition student Rory Smith entitled Tundra.
Jane Wilkinson will be singing Barber’s vivid atmospheric piece - Knoxville Summer of 1915 & the vocal movements of Beethoven’s Incidental Music to Egmont.
The Egmont Overture too is very well known, but the orchestra will be giving a rare performance of the complete music that Beethoven wrote for Goethe’s play.
