Our Family Support Workers are part of the national response to rapidly increasing demand, providing critical care and support to seriously ill children and their families in this frightening new reality.
Overnight we have seen our income drop. Fundraising events have been cancelled and our two charity shops have closed. We receive no government funding and rely almost entirely on the generosity of the public.
We are giving practical and emotional support to these families 24 hours a day. Our Family Support Workers have had to adapt the way that this support is delivered, using video and telephone support where face-to-face contact is no longer possible.
Rainbow Trust can only continue this support if we have the funding. We face the real concern that we’ll be unable to help the 2,500 families currently on our lists. Please help us to continue supporting families. They need us now more than ever.
