We'll be inviting the community to bring in their broken toys, clothing, furniture, small electrical items, bicycles and pushchairs etc to be appraised, tested and hopefully repaired and brought back into life.
This will save money, reduce waste and landfill therefore reducing our carbon footprint.
It will also hopefully support the idea of repair not replace, in the minds of a generation that may have forgotten that repairing should always be an option.
We're building a database of volunteers with the skills and enthusiasm to pass on their expertise to repair items on a non-profit basis with customers donating the cost of materials only.
