Additional Information:
Once again STIHL sponsor Woodfest at Wisley providing chainsaw carving demonstrations and a free Lumber Jack Tree Trail for children to follow. Alex Metcalf returns with his Tree Listening Project where participants can hang in tree branches and hear
water being pulled up from roots to leaves. Traditional horse-logging will demonstrated by Frankie and her horse team from Weald Woodscapes and popular wood carver, Paul Sivell, will create a new bee carving in the newly renovated Heather Garden.
A village of wooden chalets will house wood carvers, artisans and nature related charities, and there will be fungi walks and tree climbing demonstrations around the garden. All details will be on our website.
