The session is open to any cyclists keen to learn how to ride the front of a tandem and those who have already tried, but would like to gain more experience and develop their confidence.
As well as plenty of cycling practice, the session will include some sight loss awareness and guiding skills, with the aim of improving communication with and confidence around vision impaired stokers-
We have a number of tandem bicycles which are ridden by a sighted pilot on the front with a vision impaired stoker on the back.
( We are an integrated sports and recreation club with both vision impaired and sighted members of all ages and abilities.)
